Valley View is pleased to announce that Orthopedic Surgeon and Sports Medicine Physician Tomas Pevny, MD of ValleyOrtho is now offering the Jiffy Knee® procedure, a next-generation approach to knee replacement surgery designed to enhance patient outcomes and accelerate recovery.

The Jiffy Knee® procedure focuses on preserving key muscles and tendons around the knee. By minimizing disruption to these soft tissue structures, the technique helps patients return to activity sooner, often with significantly less post-operative pain, improved early mobility, shorter hospital stays and a more natural-feeling knee after surgery.

Dr. Pevny began offering the procedure in 2026 and is one of only two providers in Colorado certified in the technique. ValleyOrtho is the only clinic on the Western Slope to offer it.
