Colorado Couple Had Sex With Husky In Their Trailer: Cops

AURORA, CO -- An Aurora couple was charged with animal cruelty after police said they were performing sex acts with a Siberian husky mix named Bubba in a backyard trailer.

Fredrick Blue Manzanares, 50, and his ex-girlfriend, Janette Eileen Solano, 48, charged in March with cruelty to animals, including neglect and mistreatment, according to their arrest affidavits.

Police first learned of the case in 2017, when Solano filed a domestic abuse charge against Manaznares and told officers she was being pressured for the prior six months to have sex with the dog in a trailer which had been turned into a "sex chamber" with a special bench "with red padding" to have sex with the husky.

Solano reportedly told police they had adopted Bubba about a year before and shortly thereafter, she found bestiality videos on a laptop depicting women having sex with dogs and horses. When she confronted Manaznares, he asked her to have an open mind and began to show her "bestiality videos, bestiality forums, as well as providing her different literature on bestiality," the arrest affidavit said.

Manzanares allegedly sprayed dog hormones around the trailer to arouse Bubba. Police reportedly found videos of Manzanares and Solano having sex with the dog. She told police he would send her texts at work with a picture of Bubba that said, "He's thinking of you. ;)"

Solano reportedly told police she became "somewhat jealous" of Manaznares's relationship with Bubba. "It can easily appear as if I've taken a backseat to Bubba," she said in an email, the affidavit said.

After she went to police, Manzanares reportedly disappeared from their home, taking Bubba with him.

Bestiality is considered animal cruelty, a misdemeanor crime in Colorado.
