DENVER, CO — Due to a crash involving 100 motorists, eastbound and westbound 6th Ave at N. Kalamath St. to North Federal Boulevard were closed Friday morning but have since reopened, Denver Police Department confirmed.

The crash caused massive delays in the area.

"Last night’s storm wasn’t the worst we’ve seen but it did manage to make roads across the metro area very slick," the Denver Police Department said in a tweet, adding that the city was on "crash alert." The crash alert has since been lifted.
