Denver 7-Eleven Stabbing Person-Of-Interest Captured On Camera
A Denver convenience store clerk was fatally stabbed Thursday night near 16th Street Mall. Police seek man caught on surveillance video.

Denver police asked for the public's help identifying a man wanted in connection with a fatal stabbing of a 7-Eleven clerk Thursday night.
Around 11:38 p.m. police were called to respond to a stabbing at the 7-Eleven in the 600 block of 17th Street, a block from the 16th Street Mall. The victim was Derek Sorenson, 29, who was taken to Denver Health Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

Police say a man was caught on video surveillance who may be the killer. Police say he fled the scene northbound on foot after the stabbing.
He is described as a white man, roughly 5-feet-10 with a medium build. He was reportedly wearing a dark colored baseball cap with the Philadelphia Eagles logo. He was also wearing a dark-colored coat with a hood, dark pants or jeans and dark colored athletic shoes with white trim.
