Denver Ranks for Best Cities for LGBTQ Pre-Wedding Festivities

Denver has a lot going for it.

Denver has a lot of things going for it. It’s near the mountains which means beautiful scenery, has a ton of breweries, it was ranked one of the best cities for singles, and has one of the cutest downtowns.

But, did you also know that Denver was recently ranked one of the best cities for LGBTQ+ bachelorette and bachelor parties? The Black Tux released a list of what they call “(Surprisingly) Great Cities for LGBTQ+ Bachelor/ette Parties,” and Denver made the list at number ten.

The Black Tux says to determine the cities, they assessed the 50 largest U.S. metropolitan areas based on eight key factors. The average nightly Airbnb rate for an entire Airbnb for five people, inbound flight availabilty, bars per 100k people, cost of a drink, same-sex households per 100k households, sexual orientation/gender identity hate crimes per 100k people, HRC’s municipal equality index, and city non-discrimation ordinance.
