Denver Restaurant That Made Bon Appétit List Closing Temporarily
Named one of the best new restaurants in America last year, this 14-seat Denver restaurant will close at month's end for renovations.
DENVER, CO — Just two years into its journey, Denver cafe Call will close at month’s end for renovations. The 14-seat restaurant received national acclaim last year when it was named to Bon Appétit’s list of Best New Restaurants in America.
Call’s final service will be Sept. 29. The restaurant is expected to reopen in the spring, co-owner Craig Lieberman told the Denver Post. Lieberman added renovations are necessary because the current space doesn’t match what staff is trying to deliver, and they plan to make the space “work harder” for them.
Lieberman told the Post the renovation will add a “front-and-center” bar program with more bar seating, and the seating inside will double so more diners can enjoy what Call offers.
