Denver Stabber Yelled Homophobic Slurs: Police

A man was arrested for stabbing two victims who were leaving a nightclub early Tuesday morning, Denver police said.

DENVER, CO -- A man arrested for stabbing two pedestrians in Denver early Sunday morning is facing first-degree assault charges, Denver Police said.

Dylan Payne, 24, allegedly confronted two people leaving the Church Nightclub in the 1100 block of North Lincoln Street and "yelled homophobic slurs," police said. Payne allegedly pulled out a folding pocket knife and attacked both people, police said, causing, "serious bodily injury in both victims."

Payne was taken into custody and then taken to a hospital for evaluation, police said.
