Amazing Denver Pianist Christmas Video Gets 2 Million Views

DENVER, CO -- A Facebook video taken by a stranger of a Denver street pianist playing Christmas music on an out-of-tune 16th Street Mall piano has gone viral, racking more than 2 million views. Deon Fisher, 20, told Channel 9 News he has played for four years, but has never taken a piano lesson and doesn't even own a keyboard. But he plays the outdoor pianos as a way to relax and share his emotions with "anyone who is listening," he said.

“When I touch the first key, or depending on the music I was listening to before, it creates just a tempo in my head or a groove in my body that makes me just like want to do whatever,” he told the TV station. “Like anything, and it just comes down, I have no idea.
“… it’s like reading a book,” Fisher said. “You’re following with your finger, but really with a piano, you have no idea what’s going to happen. As long as you stay in the range of the keys that you know, you could press anything, groove any way you want to, and it will sound nice.”

Facebook user "Andrew Droiid Steward" posted the video of Fisher Dec. 10, posting:
