Lion Cub Plays In Snow For First Time At Denver Zoo: Video
"It should be no surprise that this ever-playful cub has been having a blast!" Denver Zoo officials said in a video post.
DENVER, CO — Not everyone has been pleased with the frigid temperatures and recent snow dump, but one little lion cub at the Denver Zoo loved his first-ever snow day. Zoo officials said Tatu is having tons of fun playing in the powder. A video shows the cub roaming around while his older sister gives him some playful swats.
"We’ve gotten a whole lot of snow lately and one question we keep getting is how Tatu likes the snow, so here's a #TBT to his first day out on the powder," officials posted on social media. "It should be no surprise that this ever-playful cub has been having a blast!"
When it's cold, the zoo gives Tatu the chance to go back to his warm habitat whenever he wants, officials said.

"... as you can see he just has a blast goofing off with big sister Kamara. Now that he's older, he's joined his family in the regular Predator Ridge rotation, which means sometimes he'll be behind the scenes while our other groups enjoy the outdoor yards."
