Denver Zoolights Is Back: Activities, Tickets, Entertainment

More than two million lights will flicker on at the Denver Zoo Nov. 29.

DENVER, CO — The Denver Zoo will be transformed into a twinkling winter wonderland over the holidays. Zoo Lights is back for its 29th year with two million lights over dozens of acres.

The event, which will run from Nov. 29 to Dec. 30, will feature a musical tree show, a dance party, a festival of lanterns, a carol train sing-along and illuminated animal sculptures that move around the park.

Tickets will only be available online in advance, the zoo said. Guests are encouraged to buy tickets for a $5 discount during the public presale until Nov. 25, before tickets go up to full price on Nov. 26. The event tends to sell out for most weeknights, and every night in the last two weeks of December, the zoo said.
