- Denver Auditor's report indicates that Denver International Airport could be making even more money than it already does. After reviewing several concessionaire contracts, Denver Auditor Tim O'Brien says that the lack of oversight is one of DIA's biggest issues. One contract his team reviewed, had the vendor self-reporting income and calculating their own rent payments – an agreement that hadn't been reviewed in nearly a decade. (Denverite) (Denverite)
- Welton Street Cafe returns with a Thanksgiving Food Drive and a series of pop-ups next year. Welton Street Cafe has been out of its space in Five Points since last year, but the legendary restaurant will still be cooking up 2,000 meals for a Thanksgiving food drive, as it awaits a construction permit for its new space on Welton Street. - Denver Rescue Mission rescinds its LGBTQ+ ban on employees. After the employee handbook ban became public, which barred them from "acting on same sex attraction." The DRM has since announced that it would remove the language, as it's also in direct violation of the Mission's $8.7 million contract with the city. (9News)
- Woman pepper sprays cashier in attempted theft. Police are searching for a woman who allegedly pepper sprayed a cashier near the Shops at Northfield after attempting to steal from the store. (FOX 31)
- Jefferson County's warrant clearing workshops are life changing for some. These "fresh start" clinics have been an overwhelming success in the counties they've been hosted in. Prosecutors work together with those that have outstanding warrants. The programs have seen thousands of low-level warrants extinguished, and lives changed, and new doors opened. (CPR)
