DIA Opens 3 Nursing Rooms at Airport

Denver International Airport announced that new areas for the privacy of breastfeeding mothers were added to concourses A, B, and C.

DENVER, CO -- Mothers needing a little privacy while traveling can now bring their infants into private nursing rooms at Denver International Airport on concourses A, B and C, the airport announced. The new nursing suites have comfy couches, a diaper-changing area and are lockable, the airport's press release said. The nursing areas are centrally located on the concourses where the 107 gates are located.

The rooms have space for siblings and companions, and are lockable, requiring a code to enter. Airport staff will give parents the code as requested.
