DIA Rollover Wreck: White Subaru Sought By Denver Police

A driver was injured and a dog was killed in a crash on Pena Blvd. near DIA Sunday afternoon after the driver's car flipped several times.

DENVER, CO -- Denver police are asking for the public's help to locate the female driver who allegedly caused a serious wreck near Denver International Airport Sunday. Police said the female driver of a white Subaru Crosstrek allegedly caused another driver to swerve into a barrier and flip several times. A person was seriously injured and a dog was killed in the accident, police said.

The accident happened at around 12:19 p.m. on outbound Pena Boulevard at the North Tower Road exit ramp.

According to police, the driver of the Subaru made an illegal lane chance and forced the driver of the other car to swerve into the middle median. The car flipped several times, critically injuring the driver and killing a dog, police said. The Subaru did not strike the other car, so no body damage would be visible, police said.
