Here are the top stories today in Denver:

  1. A plan to expand cloud seeding in Colorado is taking shape. It's not a new thing, but with climate change wreaking havoc on traditional weather patterns, plans are shaping up to expand the practice in several areas of the state, all in hopes of reliving drought conditions. (CO Sun)
  2. Denver Public School board chops list of school closures. DPS changes course and announces that the number of schools that the district would be recommending to be closed would be cut in half. (Local Today)
  3. Voters approve release of TABOR refunds for affordable housing. The ballot item promises to deliver as many as 170,000 new affordable homes and rental units statewide over a ten year period. (KDVR)
  4. Colorado's 3rd U.S. District is still a toss up. Incumbent congresswoman Lauren Boebert continues to hang on to a razor thin lead against Democratic challenger Adam Frisch. The last vote count released had the Boebert's lead down to 1,122 votes. (FOX 31)
