Empower Retirement Secures Naming Rights For Broncos Stadium
Denver-based Empower Retirement will have naming rights to the former Broncos Stadium for the next 21 years, according to reports.
DENVER, CO β Empower Retirement, the Denver Broncos and the Metropolitan Football Stadium District on Wednesday formally announced that Empower Retirement has purchased naming rights to Broncos Stadium, which will now be known as Empower Field at Mile High.
The deal is good for 21 years, Empower announced on its website, and is still subject to board approval. The stadium went without a corporate naming sponsor since Sports Authority went bankrupt in 2016, the Denver Post reported. In lieu of a sponsor, it was temporarily renamed Broncos Stadium.
Empower Retirement is the second-largest retirement services provider in the United States, with more than 9.2 million participants and administering more than $653 billion in assets, according to the companyβs website. The company also employs 2,700 people and has been a Broncos team partner since 2015.

"Empower Retirement was born in Colorado but our associates serve working Americans across the entire nation, " Empower President and CEO Ed Murphy said in a release. "We are thrilled with the opportunity to continue to invest in the community and the future of the Denver Broncos."
