Freeze Warning And Chance of Snow Wednesday: Denver Weather
Gardeners: Take in or cover your potted plants and harvest your cucumbers. Break out the snow-gear for Wednesday morning.

DENVER, CO – Time to break out the winter coats, at least temporarily. The National Weather Service of Denver-Boulder issued a freeze warning beginning at 6 p.m. to 10 a.m. Wednesday. There are also snow showers forecast in metro-Denver beginning Wednesday morning, the NWS said.
Temperatures should fall below 32 degrees in most area on the plains this evening and into the mid- to upper 20s bylate tonight and early Wednesday morning, the NWS said. The coldest temperatures in metro-Denver can be expected in areas with the least cloud cover.
Gardeners: Take in or cover your potted plants and harvest your cucumbers. The NWS warns that freezing temperatures could kill sensitive vegetation and damage outdoor irrigation systems and plumbing.

Coat weather will continue through the week, but get warmer again at the end of the week with temps reaching up to 59 degrees Friday and 53 degrees Saturday. Then temps will dip again Sunday, when snow is predicted, the NWS said.
