Fresh Air Friday: Free Admission to State Parks Nov. 23
Colorado Parks and Wildlife invites you to stay out of the stores after Thanksgiving and enjoy Colorado's state parks.

DENVER, CO –Colorado Parks and Wildlife is inviting Colorado residents to "Get Out and Give Thanks" by offering free entry to all 41 CPW state parks on the day after Thanksgiving. The agency celebrates Fresh Air Friday on Nov. 23 as a way to "have some fun outdoors."
“There’s no denying how grateful we as Coloradans are for our outdoor way of life,” said CPW Director Bob Broscheid. “So instead of spending the day after Thanksgiving surrounded by crowds and hunting for deals, we hope people will choose to get their friends and families outside to be surrounded by nature instead.”
With the goal of creating local "Fresh Air Friday" traditions in Colorado, here are some of the online adventure resources that Colorado Parks and Wildlife offers:

- Download the free COTREX trails app to choose where to hike, bike or ride.
- Find a fresh catch with help from the CPW Fishing App.
- Families with young children can even check off activities from Generation Wild’s 100 Things to Do Before You’re 12 list right in their own backyard.
- Use the park finder to decide which state park you’ll visit on Fresh Air Friday.
