  1. Denver City Council votes unanimously to designate a historic landmark for house in City Park West. Developer Mike Mathieson intended to demolish the home at 17th and Gaylord with a plan construct an apartment complex on the lot, but those plans were thwarted in a unanimous vote to designate the 1890s home as a landmark at Monday night's Denver City meeting.   2. Bystanders that were injured in LoDo police shooting are suing. Four individuals that were injured when a Denver police officer fired at a suspect in a crowd, filed a lawsuit against the officer. The lawsuit claims that the officer, Brandon Ramos, acted recklessly by firing into the crowd while attempting to aim at a man who had brandished a firearm. (9News)
  3. The Holiday Theater on Denver's Northside gets new lease on life. The Denver Cultural Property Trust has acquired the Holiday Theater with the intention of preserving the venue's rich cultural legacy and community spirit. As part of their mission, the organization aims to ensure that all future projects and endeavors honor the theater's history, culture, and distinctive charm. (CPR)
  4. The candidates running for mayor in Denver are promising to prioritize diversity in Denver. During a recent forum, both Kelly Brough and Mike Johnston acknowledged that the city of Denver has much to do in terms of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
