  1. Downtown office space woes. Denver's commercial real estate hasn't recovered as fast from the pandemic as other businesses have. There's still a lot of unused office space, and many companies are giving space back to their landlords as they navigate the post-COVID-19 work world. Currently, downtown Denver has a 20+ percent vacancy rate. (7News)
  2. Will downtown Denver finally get the secure, public bike parking it's been promised? The Downtown Denver Partnership said it's investing $150,000 for bike commuters to store 50-75 bikes as part of a secure bicycle parking facility at the Tail Tracks Plaza, near 16th and Wewatta. (Denverite)
  3. Former hacker said scammers are at it again. Almost $30 billion was scammed 2021 from unsuspecting victims. Some security experts indicate that this summer's scams include payment apps that appear real but are designed to capture your bank info. (FOX31)
  4. Denver businesses forced to adapt during I-70 construction. Businesses in the Globeville-Elyria-Swansea neighborhood have struggled to stay afloat during the massive road construction project. (9News)
  5. CU study confirms that maternal deaths will increase if abortions are banned. A recent University of Colorado study indicates that a national abortion ban would likely increase maternal mortality – as much as 24 percent – and higher for pregnant Black women. (CPR)
