Here Are Colorado's Fortune 500 Companies

The Fortune 500 list has been released. These are the Colorado companies that made the cut.

The 64th annual Fortune 500 list is out, and while the usual suspects dominated the top of the list, some companies from Colorado were listed too.

The 500 companies account for $12.8 trillion in revenue — two-thirds of America’s gross domestic product — employ more than 28 million people across the globe. In other words, they’re vital to the global economy.
You’ll recognize many of the top companies — Walmart topped the list for the sixth straight year and Amazon cracked the top 10 — but you might not know all the companies from our state. The highest ranked company in Colorado was Arrow Electronics, followed by DaVita and Dish Network.

Here are all the Fortune 500 companies in Colorado:

The threshold for making this year’s list was $5.4 billion in revenues, Fortune says. That’s 6 percent more than 2017.

Fifty-four firms have appeared in every Fortune 500 list since 1955, including GE, GM, Chevron and Exxon Mobil. On the flip side, 17 companies made the list for the first time, including Ulta Beauty.

New York, California and Texas had the most Fortune 500 companies of all states, with 58, 49 and 48, respectively.

Just 24 companies on the list are headed by women, the magazine said.
