High Turnout Expected In Tuesday's Election
Already, almost 45 percent of Colorado's active registered voters have sent in their ballots, as of Nov. 1.

ACROSS COLORADO –Almost 45 percent of registered active voters in Colorado have cast their ballots by mail, according to data released Monday by the Colorado Secretary of State's office.
Of the 3,379,992 active voters registered as of Nov. 1, a total of 1,514,817 ballots have been returned, the SOS office said. Registered Democrats have pulled ahead of Republicans, sending in the most ballots so far at 519,833 or 50 percent of the 1,038,975 active registered Democrats in Colorado.
Registered Republicans have returned 515,131 ballots, or a return rate of 51.7 percent of the 996,492 active registered Republican voters.

Of Colorado's 1,282,743 active unaffiliated voters, 461,154, or 46.3 percent percent have sent in their ballots, the SOS office said.
