DENVER, CO – The man killed in a June 30 Denver triple-shooting, who died in a luxury sports car as he was being driven to the hospital, was identified by the Denver Medical Examiner's Office.

Christian Zapata, 19, was one of three people shot around 11:15 p.m. in an alley in the 3800 block of North Franklin Street, police said. Inside, they found three men injured by gunshot wounds, who had been trying to drive themselves to the hospital.

Zapata died in the car, police said. The medical examiner determined he died of gun shot wounds and that the cause of death was homicide. Zapata was one of six siblings, according to his obituary.
