Lakewood Community Now Has Play It Again Sports®

LAKEWOOD, CO – Local families now have a place that not only puts cash back into their pockets, but sells gently-used sports and fitness equipment for less.

A favorite with families, the new Play It Again Sports® in Lakewood officially opened last month at 13057 W Alameda Pkwy. The unique resale store buys and sells gently-used sports and fitness equipment—including football equipment, baseball gloves and bats, hockey gear, golf clubs, soccer, lacrosse equipment, motorized treadmills, elliptical and bikes, benches and weights, and more.

“I’m thrilled to have opened my business in such a warm, welcoming, sports-oriented community like Lakewood,” said Kevin O’Donnell, who owns the new Play It Again Sports store. “I’m sure everyone will love the breadth of new and used merchandise we provide. Kevin’s background is in sports performance training and a physical therapist for the past 15 years. Everything from helping pro-athletes to the average joe, he has coached people to increase their speed and strength. He also has a daughter who plays hockey and a son who plays baseball in college, so he knows how pricey equipment can get.

Unlike a typical consignment store, no appointment is necessary to sell sports and fitness equipment to Play It Again Sports. Plus, the store pays consumers on the spot for goods it purchases from them.
