Metro Denver, Boulder Stores Open On Thanksgiving 2019
Major retailers including Best Buy, CVS and Macy's will remain open on Thanksgiving Day.
Thanksgiving is generally reserved for family time, watching football and eating too much turkey. But more and more people are looking to get a jump on Black Friday every year by hitting the stores a day early.
Luckily for you, quite a few stores in metro Denver and Boulder will remain open on Turkey Day, according to BestBlackFriday.com, a website dedicated to tracking news and trends related to spending on Thanksgiving, Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
Among the stores that will be open on Thanksgiving are Bed Bath and Beyond, DSW and Walgreens.

“Thanksgiving Day continues to be big business for retailers which remain open, as well as those who offer giant savings and discounts online. In 2018, Thanksgiving Day generated 3.7 billion in online sales,” BestBlackFriday noted.
Turkey Day sales are expected to go up even more in 2019, according to a recent forecast from Adobe.

The computer software company projected Thanksgiving Day sales will increase by 19.5 percent this year, generating $4.4 billion. Adobe’s predictions are based on an analysis of over 1 trillion visits to retail sites.
Despite the increase in sales, a survey conducted by BestBlackFriday found only 28 percent of polled shoppers think stores should remain open on Thanksgiving.
