An annual list released by Inc. ranks 5,000 of the fastest-growing privately-held companies in the United States.

DENVER, CO — Inc. has announced its 2020 list of fastest-growing privately-held companies in the United States. The annual list offers a look into 5,000 of the most successful small businesses led by some of the country’s most inspiring entrepreneurs.
More than 100 companies in Denver's metro area were recognized on this year’s Inc. 5000.
Well-known national honorees on previous Inc. 5000 lists include Intuit, Zappos, Under Armour, Microsoft and Patagonia.

Companies on this year’s list achieved average growth of 500 percent over three years. Combined, companies earned about $209 billion in revenue in 2019, accounting for more than 1 million jobs over the past three years.

“The companies on this year’s Inc. 5000 come from nearly every realm of business,” Inc. editor-in-chief Scott Omelianuk said in a news release. “From health and software to media and hospitality, the 2020 list proves that no matter the sector, incredible growth is based on the foundations of tenacity and opportunism.”
