DENVER, CO — Jordan Vong, the 7-year-old boy who went missing around 4:30 p.m. Monday, has been found dead. Denver Police Chief Pazen spoke with reporters Tuesday night.
Pazen didn't tell reporters where Jordan was found or give many details at all in an effort to protect the integrity of the investigation. He said it's too early to determine what happened to Jordan.
Pazen did confirm that it was a family member who reported Jordan missing on Monday, but didn't specify which family member.

There are no known suspects, and Pazen was clear that at this point, it is a death investigation, not a homicide investigation.
When asked about the investigation, Pazen said "This is just beginning. It's a long process and we need to make sure we do this the right way all the way through."
