Pedestrian Hit, Killed By Car On Interstate 25 In Denver: Police

The accident closed northbound and southbound lanes for two hours early Saturday morning, according to Denver police.

DENVER, CO — A pedestrian was killed Saturday when they were hit by a car while on Interstate 25 in Denver, according to police.

The crash happened in the early morning hours Saturday on southbound I-25 near West Alameda Avenue, according to the Denver Police Department. Authorities closed both north and southbound lanes around 3:15 a.m. to allow police to investigate the crash. All lanes had reopened by 5:30 a.m., according to police.

The pedestrian, who has not been identified, died at the crash scene, police said.
