  1. Denver Police chief is retiring in October. Chief Paul Pazen announced that he'll be stepping down as Denver's top cop on Oct. 5. Some suggest that Pazen is prepping for a run for Denver mayor. (FOX31)
  2. Hotel in LoDo hotel sells for $6 million. LoDo's Nativ Hotel was impacted by the pandemic and a shooting last May, and after a year of back and forth with creditors the 18-room hotel in downtown Denver has been sold in a foreclosure sale. (Paper News)
  3. U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's visit to Colorado was focused on Inflation Reduction Act funding. Pelosi joined Congressman Joe Neguse as they toured NCAR laboratory in Boulder and hosted a roundtable discussion on the Inflation Reduction Act. (CBS4)
  4. Crash on Pecos Street kills pedestrian. The Adams County Sheriff's is investigating a deadly crash that killed a pedestrian early on Wednesday morning near Pecos Street and 72nd Avenue. (FOX31)
  5. Will Colorado's free transit test spawn a new program? Now that the free month of transit is over, some are hoping to take it to the next level. RTD is preparing a report on the test, due out this coming November. (CPR)
