Presidential Primary 2020: Ballots Sent To Denver Voters
Ballots are in the mail — here's a list of drop box locations and deadlines.
DENVER, CO — Elections officials have begun mailing ballots for the 2020 presidential primary to voters in the City and County of Denver. Ballots can take up to eight days to arrive, and ballots are not ordered by address, so spouses and roommates sometimes receive their ballots on different days.
On Jan. 18, ballots were mailed to all military and overseas voters.
Coloradans will cast their votes in three elections in 2020 — the first of which is on March 3 — Super Tuesday.

Elections officials are encouraging Coloradans to make sure they are registered to vote and that their voter registration is up to date.

Important upcoming dates
Feb. 18: Denver's elections office, at 200 W 14th Ave., opens as a Vote Center.
Feb. 24: Phase 1 Voter Service Centers open — find locations here. This is the last day to return your ballot by mail, after this day return it only to drop-boxes.
March 2: Phase 2 Vote Centers open — find locations here.
Mar. 3: Election Day. All ballots must be received by 7 p.m. (postmarks do not count).

Elections officials are also reminding voters that 17-year-olds who will turn 18 years old by the General Election Nov. 3, 2020, can now vote in the primaries.
