Presidential Primary 2020: Here's Who Denver Voted For

DENVER, CO — The unofficial results of Colorado's Democratic presidential primary show Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders in the lead with 36 percent in Denver, which is on par with the statewide average.

Former Vice President Joe Biden has 16 percent in Denver — significantly lower than the 21 percent statewide average as of Wednesday morning.

Billionaire Mike Bloomberg is at 20 percent in Denver; however, he announced Wednesday that he's dropped out of the race and endorsed Joe Biden.

Elizabeth Warren is also at 20 percent in the Mile High City — a bit higher than the statewide average of 17 percent.

President Donald Trump has 86 percent in Denver, which is slightly lower than the statewide average of 92.

Both Bill Weld and Joe Walsh were under 3 percent each in Denver.

Super Tuesday Latest Results From Around The Country

The Colorado Democratic Party and the Colorado GOP will use the results to determine how many delegates to send to the national conventions for each candidate. A total of 67 delegates are at stake in the Super Tuesday vote; however, the popular vote will only determine how 23 delegates are allocated. The rest will be determined by the results of the state's congressional districts.
