DENVER, CO — A man's remains were found Tuesday in two suitcases in southwest Denver, police said.

Police were called to the 1700 block of South Java Way in the city's Mar Lee neighborhood after they received a report of suspicious luggage beside the road.

The remains were of a man who died recently, police said. No further details about his identity or the nature of his death were released.
