Roadwork on Denver's University Blvd. Will Slow Travel

From Denver Public Works: Beginning Monday, August 27 through Wednesday, August 29, a contractor for Denver Public Works will begin working to maintain the concrete roadway surface on University Boulevard from Cherry Creek South Drive to 6th Avenue. The work will require closing both left turn lanes on northbound University to westbound 1st Avenue, to prevent vehicles from entering the work zone and to allow the concrete to cure.

The work will also require various lane closures along northbound and southbound University from Cherry Creek South Drive to 6th Avenue.

Commuters should expect delays while work is underway. The public’s patience and cooperation during construction are greatly appreciated. All work is weather dependent and subject to change.
