Semi Wreck Knocks Out Power In Brighton
Two homes were evacuated and electricity was cut off for neighbors after a semi truck took out two utility poles Friday afternoon.

BRIGHTON, CO -- Power was out and two homes had to be evacuated after a semi truck crashed into two electrical poles in Brighton Friday morning.
Around 11 a.m., the truck struck two utility poles near Denver Street and North 16th Avenue. Brighton Fired Department helped evacuate two residences and United Power shut down electricity in surrounding homes so the lines could be repaired.
Just before 11 a.m. @BrightonFire was dispatched to an electrical problem at Denver St. & N 16th Ave. A Semi truck crashed into power lines. United Power is en route. There are no injuries. Two homes have been evacuated as a precaution until United Power shuts off power. pic.twitter.com/nNKHqeKiVs
