Severe Thunderstorm Warning Issued For Denver County
The National Weather Service has issued a storm alert.
DENVER, CO — The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm alert for the County of Denver. Half dollar size hail and 60 mph wind gusts could hit some parts of the county. The alert has been issued until 11 p.m.
A severe thunderstorm hit Littleton, and is moving east, officials said. The storm was moving at 15 miles per hour.
UPDATE: The severe thunderstorm watch has also been extended to Adams, Arapahoe, Baca, Bent, Boulder, Broomfield, Cheyenne, Crowley, Douglas, El Paso, Elbert, Jefferson, Kiowa, Kit Carson, Larimer, Las Animas, Lincoln, Morgan, Otero, Prowers, Pueblo, Washington and Weld counties.

"Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Hail damage to vehicles is expected," NWS warned in the alert.
