Slack Opens Office In Downtown Denver

LoDo is now home to Slack's newest office.

DENVER, CO — The San Francisco-based software company Slack has opened a new office in downtown Denver. The new location currently employs 85 people, but the company said it has plans to expand to 150 employees by the end of the year.

Slack celebrated its grand opening in the new office on Monday with customers, partners and guests.

The software company accepted $10.6 million in tax credits from the state last year to open the 80,000-square-foot office at 1681 Chestnut Place, Suite 700.

“Thanks to its decades-long history of investing in education and infrastructure, Denver is now home to seemingly limitless talent,” Ali Rayl, Slack VP of customer experience, said in a recent blog post. “The region boasts a quality of life that’s hard to match anywhere else. We’re thrilled to be part of the supportive, welcoming, and growing tech community that’s grown up along the Front Range.”
