  1. Employees at Denver's Cerebral Brewing get paid time off to vote. This brewery is giving its employees up to two hours off this year to do research on issues and candidates and submit their ballot. Brewery owner Sean Buchan said the company began the practice two years ago during the 2020 presidential election as a perk for its employees. (9News)
  2. Out of more than 25,000 rental units in Denver, less than 300 have applied for a permit. Beginning in January, all landlords with more than on rental unit are required to have a permit from the City of Denver. Problem is that is only a small handful have complied so far. (Denverite)
  3. To expand the use of electric cars, states will have to step up to the plate. With historic federal legislation that has laid the groundwork for the transformation of the U.S. transportation sector, states will have to provide the network to provide charging options for all of these vehicles that will eventually be hitting the road.   4. Denver NFT scammer gets busted, has to repay $275,000. Tyler Gaye allegedly took money from investors to buy Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) but instead of cutting them in on the deal, Gaye took the money and ran. Last Friday, a Denver judge issued a default judgment against Gaye for $275,000 after he failed to respond to the lawsuit. (Local Today)
  5. Risk factors increase for wildfires as the region moves into a possible dry and windy winter. Fire experts preparing for the worst this winter by using last December's Marshall Fire as a benchmark. (FOX31)
