Students Across Metro Denver To Be Released Early
School districts in metro Denver are announcing early closures. Boulder Valley School District will dismiss students at regular times.
DENVER, CO — School districts in Denver's metro area are announcing early closures. A Winter Storm Watch remains in place until noon on Wednesday, the National Weather Service said.
Dozens of vehicles crashed in the Denver area Tuesday morning, and police are warning drivers to stay off the roads.

The district will be releasing students early in staggered groups. Middle and high schools will be released at noon. Elementary schools and K-8 schools will be released at 2 p.m.
For elementary students who are normally picked up at school by a parent or guardian, school staff will remain at the school this afternoon until all students are picked up.

Aurora Public Schools

Schools in the district will be closing two hours early on Tuesday. School buses will pick students up two hours earlier and district offices will close at 3 p.m., the district announced.
Jeffco Public Schools
Students who attend schools in the district will be dismissed at their regular scheduled time; however all after-school activities have been canceled, district officials said.
Jeffco Public Schools is having an on-time dismissal today, October 29. All after-school and evening activities are CANCELLED, including athletic events, other scheduled activities, and all after-school care in Jeffco facilities.

Littleton Public Schools
Students will be dismissed two hours early and all after-school activities have been canceled.

Adams 12 Five Star Schools
Students will be released on a staggered schedule and all after-school activities are canceled.
Early release schedule:
- High schools - 12:30 p.m.
- Elementary schools - 1:15 p.m.
- Middle schools - 2:15 p.m.
If families wish to do so based on personal circumstances, they can pick up their student(s) from school before early release dismissal time. Buses will follow our early release schedule that we normally use on Wednesdays.

Cherry Creek Schools
Schools will be dismissed two hours early and school buses will pick students up early:
- Elementary schools will dismiss at 12:45 p.m.
- High schools will dismiss at 1:30 p.m.
- Middle schools will dismiss at 1:45 p.m.
Sheridan School District 2
All students who attend schools in this district will be released at 12:30 p.m., and school buses will take students home at this time.
Boulder Valley School District
All students in this district will be released at normal dismissal times; however, after-school activities have been canceled.
