Union Station Cleared After Suspicious Package Investigation
Officers were called to the station to investigate, but the scene has been cleared, Denver police said.
DENVER, CO — Union Station has been cleared by Denver police after a suspicious package was found late Wednesday afternoon. Trains going to and from the station may be delayed over the next couple of hours, RTD said.
Trains were not permitted to travel past the Pepsi Center while the investigation was underway, according to RTD.
A photo tweeted Wednesday afternoon showed a staircase and escalator blocked off at the station's Chestnut Pavilion, with officers on scene.
