CU Denver Provost Constancio Nakuma, PhD, and Roderick Nairn, PhD, Executive Vice Chancellor for Academic and Student Affairs at the CU Anschutz Medical Campus, have announced recent staff changes in the Office of Equity. Effective Nov. 1, 2021, Will Dewese, M.Ed, assumed the role of Interim Director of the Office of Equity and Title IX Coordinator.

Nelia Viveiros, associate vice chancellor for academic operations, whose responsibilities included oversight of the Office of Equity, and Karey Krohnfeldt, director and Title IX coordinator, have both taken positions outside of the university effective Nov. 1, 2021. However, they will be providing some temporary part-time help for the Office of Equity as it transitions to new leadership.  

An announcement about a search process for the open positions in the Office of Equity will be communicated shortly.
