On Aug. 3, the Lynx Together team hosted a virtual town hall to answer questions for students and their parents before the start of the fall 2021 semester. This town hall was designed to help new and returning students prepare for the first week of classes, particularly those who may not have experienced in-person instruction during the past year and a half.
Importantly, the most current public health guidance still informs campus safety protocols. “We continue to monitor minute by minute what’s going on in the world, and we recognize that minute by minute things seem to be changing,” said Chris Puckett, Managing Associate University Counsel, who has helped lead the Lynx Together planning efforts. A new mask policy was announced for the campus shortly after the town hall.
