Winter Storm Watch Continues In Metro Denver, Boulder
"Expect hazardous winter driving conditions on all roads ... especially over the high mountains passes," weather officials warned.
National Weather Service storm alerts continue for the metro Denver area and Boulder. A Winter Storm Watch remains in place until 6 p.m. Monday.
Up to nine inches of snow is expected to fall early Monday morning through Monday evening, weather officials said. More snow overnight could create dangerous roads for Monday commuters.
"Travel will be very difficult," the alert read. "Expect hazardous winter driving conditions on all roads ... especially over the high mountains passes. Roads will become icy and snowpacked with poor visibility in heavy snowfall."

The agency urged drivers to slow down and use caution while traveling.
"If you must travel, be prepared for winter driving by keeping
extra warm clothes, a flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle
in case of an emergency."

Snow will spread across our region Sunday night into Monday morning, before tapering off by Monday afternoon.
The following areas were listed in the Winter Storm Watch: Fort Collins, Hereford, Loveland, Nunn, Arvada, Boulder, Golden, Lakewood, Longmont, Aurora, Brighton, City of Denver, Denver International Airport, Highlands Ranch, Littleton, Parker, Castle Rock, Elbert, Fondis, Kiowa, Larkspur, Briggsdale, Grover, Pawnee Buttes, Raymer, Stoneham, Eaton, Fort Lupton, Greeley, Roggen, Brush, Fort Morgan, Goodrich, Wiggins, Bennett, Byers, Deer Trail, Leader, Agate, Hugo, Limon and Matheson.
