• Colorado Springs police issue over 300 citations in car registration crackdown (gazette.com) — Drivers in Fountain were part of a recent Front Range crackdown on expired or missing vehicle registrations that produced 955 citations overall, including 313 in Colorado Springs alone. Fountain police joined several neighboring departments and the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office in a zero-tolerance week, and officers say registration and other traffic violations will remain an enforcement priority.
