Caught On Video: Alleged Shoplifters, Fake $100 Bill
The JeffCo Sheriff's Office asked for help identifying a couple who allegedly fled Macy's with merchandise and a woman with a fake $100 bill

GOLDEN, CO -- The Jefferson Co. Sheriff's Office asked the public for help identifying a man and women caught on video allegedly stealing items from a Littleton store Nov. 18 and a woman who allegedly passed a fake $100 bill in a Littleton Walmart in October.
The couple police are seeking in the Nov. 18 incident were allegedly carrying items out of the Macy’s at Southwest Plaza Mall when they were approached by two security guards. The two allegedly physically resisted the two loss-prevention employees and fled the store with armloads of merchandise into a waiting car, driven by a third party, the statement said.
The male is described as Hispanic and was wearing a grey sweatshirt and a Denver Broncos cap. The female is also described as Hispanic. She was wearing an over-sized grey hooded sweatshirt.

JeffCo Sheriff's Deputies also posted video from an unsolved counterfeit currency case. An unknown woman allegedly paid for purchases with a fake $100 bill on Oct. 12 at the Walmart at 13420 W. Coal Mine Ave. in Littleton. "[We're] not sure if she knew the bill was fake. That's why we need your help to identify her," the Sheriff's Facebook account said.
