The victim, who had previously lived at the house, said he had returned to collect his belongings when his uncle, Sichting, began to yell at him, accusing him of stealing a $1,000. The victim told police he was locked in the storage container and Sichting repeatedly beat him with a chair leg and broke a mirror over him, tearing at his clothes.

When another man unlocked the storage container door, the victim pushed past and escaped, clad only in boxer shorts and a blanket. He ran to a neighbors and called 911, an arrest affidavit said.
