Fatal I-70 Semi Crash Driver IDed, From Canton, OH
The driver of a semi that crashed into an I-70 bridge was identified as Sean Bello. His wife, Judith Bello, 41, was hospitalized.

IDAHO SPRINGS, CO -- The driver of a semi that crashed into an I-70 bridge, DATE, closing traffic for hours, was identified by the Clear Creek Co. Coroner as Sean M. Bello, 41, of Canton, Ohio. Bello's wife, Judith Bello was taken to St. Anthony Hospital with life-threatening injuries after the 10:30 a.m. accident.
The westbound semi crossed the median into eastbound lanes and then crashed into the bridge, getting wedged between pillars and the retaining wall. CDOT closed I-70 in both directions for most of the day.
Initially, the Colorado State Patrol said that drugs and alcohol were not suspected in the crash. Coroner Chris Hegmann said toxicology results would not be available for two weeks or more.
