Golden Election 2017 Results: Weinberg, Dale Re-elected

Golden voters seem to have re-elected council members Laura Weinberg and Jim Dale and voted in Robert Reed and Paul Haseman.

GOLDEN, CO -- Golden voters chose four city council members Tuesday, with one incumbent, Laura Weinberg appearing to have creamed her challenger, Mikey "Mayhem" Sheridan, according to unofficial vote totals released by Jefferson Co. and updated Wednesday.

In the open race in Ward 1, Robert W. Reed appeared to be beating Micah Allen with 55.9 percent of the vote, or 559 votes to Allen's 44.1 percent (441 votes), according to the updated tallies.

In the four-way race in Ward 2, Paul Haseman appeared to be outpacing his three rivals with 49.28 percent of the vote, or 647 votes. In second place was Daniel Sung, who had 25.59 percent (336 votes). Deborah Ann Deal and Josh Thompson were third and fourth with 235 and 95 votes respectively.

Incumbent Jim Dale ran unopposed in Ward 3.

In Ward 4, incumbent Laura Weinberg won 74.76 percent of the vote, or 788 votes. Challenger Mikey "Mayhem" Sheridan won 266 votes.
