Golden Police Department Seeks New Recruits

GOLDEN, CO — The Golden Police Department is seeking new officers to join its team. Applicants must be 21 years or older, have documented 60 semester/90 quarter college credits from an accredited college or university, and have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

"If you are committed to technical excellence, high quality service delivery, leadership development and looking for a fun place to work; this may be the opportunity for you," CPD stated in its job post.

The quoted salary was between $60,650 and $87,900, dependent upon experience and qualifications.

"Colorado POST certification or prior law enforcement experience are not required but will be given preference during this hiring process," CPD said.

The application deadline is June 30 at 5 p.m. Qualified applicants must keep the following dates open for possible testing:

• Written testing: July 8, 10, 15
• Oral boards: July 15 & 22-24
