The Legend of Sleepy Hollow at Miners Alley Playhouse, Golden -Playing September 16 – October 28 is the Legend of Sleepy Hollow at Miners Alley Playhouse. Ichabod Crane has come to Sleepy Hollow to teach, but what he learns there frightens him nearly out of his wits! Watch as Ichabod learns of the Legend of Sleepy Hollow and tries to escape the clutches of the Headless Horseman. Call 303-935-3044 for more information.

The Golden Haunted Hay Ride Enjoy a ghostly hayride with Golden’s entertaining Historian Stacy Fowler and then join Psychic Medium Troy Griffin available after the event to answer your own personal physic question. Stacy Fowler, Golden’s haunted historian, will take you on a storytelling hayride adventure telling of the ghostly tales and spirits that reside in Golden. Seating is limited.

Murder, Mayhem and Madness Tour: Tales of the Wild West in Golden Golden, Colorado is known as the home of Coors Brewery and the School of Mines, however, during this haunted history tour hear tales of the wild, wild west that this town once was. Tales include lynchings, shootouts, murder, and mayhem. See the park named after an innocent man hanged by a mob and the location where Golden's 'Night of Terror' took place. Hear what nefarious activities used to take place on top of Golden's Castle Rock, what paranormal activity may have forced a building to be shortened by one floor, and much more. Colorado Haunted History. Time: 2 hours. Meets in front of Golden Visitor's Center (1010 Washington)

Haunted Physics Lab, Colorado School of Mines Every year, the Colorado School of Mines Society of Physics Students holds a Haunted Physics Lab, with members demonstrating various experiments in the spirit of Halloween. The 2017 Haunted Physics Lab is sponsored by the CSM Society of Physics students. FREE event on Saturday, October 28. 8 a.m. – 2p.m. Colorado School of Mines – Ben Parker Student Center on 16th & Maple Streets.

Golden: Trick or Treat Train at Colorado Railroad Museum It’s full steam ahead for tricks, treats and trains at the Colorado Railroad Museum! The Railroad Halloween Town is a safe place to enjoy Trick or Treating. Catch a ride behind a historic Denver & Rio Grande Steam Locomotive in vintage passenger cars hosted by conductors and engineers in full costume.

Visit all of the special stops to fill your treat bags and tickle your funny bones including the “not so spooky” Haunted Railcar and the Olde Railroaders Silly Graveyard. Enjoy local food, kettle corn, shaved ice and even get your face painted. Finally, get a great picture of your costume as you pose in front of our Pumpkin Patch cart.
