Want to search for the owners of a parcel of land? Want to find out the sale history of s house, or how much the assessed taxes are? The assessors office rolled out a new <a href="https://propertysearch.jeffco.us/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Property Records Search</a> function Wednesday that makes the buying, selling and transfer of property in the county much more transparent. The old site was "using technologies that are no longer widely supported" and was "susceptible to cyber-attacks," the office said in a press release. Web developers built the site to be mobile-friendly, the office said. Users can search properties by owner name, property address, date sold, types of property sold and by neighborhood. Users can also create maps based on specific data entered. The site also works at lightning speed.
