Road Rage Broken Nose In Evergreen: Sheriff Seeks Suspect [WATCH]

EVERGREEN, CO – A victim of an April road-rage incident in Evergreen ended up with a dented truck and a broken nose, and the Jefferson county Sheriff's office is seeking the public's help to identify the suspect involved.

A video posted Wednesday by the sheriff's office shows part of the April 19 incident, which took place around 7:40 a.m. on Evergreen Parkway.

The victim was driving a gray Ford F-150 was behind an unknown male driving a white Toyota Highlander. At Lewis Road, the sheriff's office said the driver of the Highlander "brake checked" the Ford truck. This incident was recorded from another car following behind the two vehicles.

When both vehicles stopped at a red light at Evergreen and Swede Gulch Road, the driver of the Highlander allegedly exited his car and "began yelling and cursing at the victim." The sheriff's office said the man had a "European accent."

The male kicked the victim’s driver’s side door then, got back in his Highlander, put it in reverse and hit the victim’s truck, the sheriff's office said. Then, the unknown man again got out of his car, walked to the victim's drivers side window, again shouting and cursing.

The driver of the truck rolled down his window, at which point the other driver allegedly punched him in the face, breaking his nose.

The aggressive driver was described by the injured man as "being in his 40’s, about 160 pounds with blond hair."
